The Wendler 5/3/1 calculator app is a powerful tool designed to help you plan, log, and track your Jim Wendler's powerlifting 5/3/1 and Beyond 5/3/1 workout program. No more fussing with printed spreadsheets at the gym - simply enter your current 1 rep max and let the app handle the rest.
With the Wendler 5/3/1 app, you can customize the program to suit your specific goals. It automatically calculates and manages your 5/3/1 progression, laying out the weights and reps for each workout day. You have the flexibility to choose from different rep schemes such as 5/3/1, 3/5/1, 8/6/3, and 5/5/5.
The app also offers a range of features to enhance your training experience. You can configure your training max percentage, include warm-up sets, and even incorporate the popular "Boring but Big" sets. The inclusion of Joker sets and the First Set Last option allows for even more customization.
In addition to the main lifts, the app provides 16 predefined assistance exercises that can be customized to fit your needs. You also have the option to add your own assistance exercises for a truly personalized workout plan.
The Wendler 5/3/1 app includes a plates calculator that shows you exactly which plates to load, saving you time and effort during your workouts. There is also a convenient rest timer with adjustable lengths.
Tracking your progress is made easy with progress charts that display your current 1 rep max and bodyweight. You can also track changes in your body weight over time.
For international users, the app supports both kilogram and pound measurements. Furthermore, it integrates with Apple Health, so you can seamlessly sync your workout information.
While the app offers a trial period of 3 weeks with full access to all features, continued use requires the purchase of the "5/3/1 Pro" feature for logging the 5/3/1 workouts. Additionally, the "Assistance Workouts" feature is required to continue logging the assistance workouts.
